Date Calculator

Days between two dates, or add/subtract days from any date.

Two Tools in One

Days between dates counts the exact calendar days from one date to another — for project timelines, ticket refund windows, visa stays, or "how long until vacation". Add/subtract days answers questions like "what date is 90 days from today?" — the classic deadline calculation.

Worked Examples

  • January 1 to July 11, 2026 → 191 days (about 27.3 weeks or 6.3 months).
  • 90 days after July 11, 2026 → Friday, October 9, 2026 — including the weekday, since deadlines landing on weekends often shift.

Inclusive or Exclusive Counting?

This calculator counts the difference between dates — July 1 to July 3 is 2 days. Some legal deadlines count inclusively ("within 14 days of receipt" may include the receipt day); when a contract or authority sets the deadline, read their counting rule and add a safety margin.

Months and Years Are Averages

The weeks value is exact (days ÷ 7); months and years shown use average lengths (30.44 days, 365.25 days) because calendar months differ. For anniversaries, the add/subtract mode with real calendar dates is more precise.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the count include both start and end dates?
Neither-inclusive: it counts the days between them, so Monday to Wednesday is 2 days. For inclusive deadline counting, add 1 as needed.
Are leap years handled?
Yes — the calculator uses real calendar dates, so February 29 is counted whenever it falls in the range.
Can I calculate business days?
Not yet — results are calendar days. As a rule of thumb, 5 business days ≈ 7 calendar days when no holidays intervene.
What date is 90 days from today?
Use the Add/Subtract mode: pick today, enter 90, choose Add. The result includes the weekday — useful because many deadlines shift when they land on weekends.
